Avenging Thursday's mediocre effort vs. the Sabres, March Recchi and Brad Marchand combined for 7 points ( 3 goals, 4 Assists) fueling the Bruins 6-2 win over the Avalanche as the second line continues to play well. Tim Thomas stopped the Avalanche cold at times while notching 32 saves. Marc Savard suffered another head injury at the hands of former Bruin's defender Matt Hunwick. Savard returned to Boston for further examination and will not traveling with the team to Los Angeles.
