Stars vs. Bruins 7 p.m. @ TD Garden

The Bruins return from Carolina after a hard fought win to the TD Garden for their first home game after the All-Star Break to face the Dallas Stars. The Stars are first in the Pacific Division with 65 points. Solid teams go to battle tonight. For the Bruins, Tim Thomas is still playing out of his mind, Zdeno Chara's slapshot is useful, Patrice Bergeron continues his torrid start to 2011, Nathan Horton may have gotten the spark he needs, and the fourth line continues to produce at key moments in games. The Bruins seemed primed for a successful stretch run, but the proof is in the putting.
