After one of the most embarrassing games of the season, the Bruins return home to regain their dignity and momentum against a solid Sabres squad. Zdeno Chara was not suspended or fined for his hit on Max Pacioretty Tuesday night in Montreal. There are probably riots in Montreal right now because of the ruling (or lack there of). But hey, its all in how you interpret the hit. This means the Bruins will not be 2x shorthanded on the back end against a solid Buffalo offense.
I am praying that the Bruins spent all practice on Wednesday prepping their power play. Too stagnant and not enought production has been killing them. I expect to see movement around the net and below the dots to create more chances other than straight blasts from the point.
The Bruins have a three game lead in the Northeast Division and need the two points to hold ground in the conference. The Sabres are clinging to 8th in the conference with a 1 point advantage on Carolina as 2 points for these teams are HUGE.
BREAKING NEWS: Todd and Co. will be in attendance. A "couple" beverages will be consumed as we watch the Black and Gold try to get back on track. Full in depth analysis post game from Todd and possibly Zeke.
Prediction: The Bruins answer the call for better play. Bruins 3 - Sabres 2
